Beech Lodge Care Facilities Hawaiian Summer Party

Residents at Beech Lodge Care Facility had a busy summer of events and entertainment. We decided to finish off the summer with a Hawaiian themed Summer Party on Sunday 23rd August. The day was a fantastic success with a great turn out of families and friends. Everyone dressed in bright colours and accessories and got into the spirit for the occasion. The venue was creatively decorated by decorations made by residents over a number of weeks leading up to the event… the place looked wonderful!!
In- house chefs prepared delicious confectionaries and hot food for the occasion and also got very creative with the theme of the party. Music was provided by a fantastic group of musicians which was organised by Ide Hogan, a very talented musician who performs weekly in Beech Lodge. We had a fantastic mix of younger and older performers...even some visitors surprised us with a song or two. The party commenced at 2pm, and finished at 4.15pm; everyone had a ball and enjoyed singing and dancing and being entertained by a fantastic bunch of musicians.
